KETO PIZZA SALAMI

KETO PIZZA SALAMI

Hardly anyone would say “no” to a pizza! We love them all! And even those who live or want to live strictly ketogenic definitely don’t have to do without this culinary delight. There are already many different ways to conjure up a ketogenic pizza. Our favorite pizza is clearly the Keto Pizza Salami with a tuna-cream cheese base. Quick and easy to prepare and really tasty!

INGREDIENTS FOR A PIZZA 28CM:

For the dough

  • 200 gr. Grainy cream cheese
  • 1 can of tuna (in water)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of grated Gouda
  • 1 teaspoon of wild herbs
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Pepper to taste

For the sauce

  • 1/2 can of chopped tomatoes
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4-5 leaves of fresh basil
  • who wants: also fresh oregano

For covering

  • 3-4 tablespoons of grated gouda
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 small red onion
  • 3 champions
  • 6-7 slices of organic salami

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C

PREPARATION:

First mix the dough! To do this, put the canned tuna in a sieve and drain and squeeze out the remaining water by hand. Then put the tuna with the cream cheese, Gouda cheese, eggs and spices in a bowl and puree for 2 minutes. If the consistency is a bit too runny, some psyllium husk flour or hemp flour can be added.

Then spread the dough into a round pizza crust shape on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a spoon or a dough scraper. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes on the middle rack until golden brown. If necessary, turn the dough halfway through. If everything has been done correctly, the pizza base can be easily removed from the baking paper and turned over after 15-20 minutes.

While the pizza base is in the oven, prepare the sauce. Put the chopped tomatoes with the other ingredients in a blender, season with pepper and salt to taste and puree briefly.

THE FINAL:

After 30 minutes, take the pizza base out of the oven and, if necessary, place it on new baking paper if the existing one should be a little damp. Spread the sauce on the pizza base and sprinkle with about half of the gouda. Then cover with the fresh ingredients. Finally pour the rest of the Gouda cheese over it and, if desired, season with a little salt, pepper, oregano or even rosemary. Bake in the oven for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted and is golden brown.

Serve on a wooden board.

Consumption recommendation: Depending on your preference, the finished pizza can be refined with fresh rocket leaves or basil!

Enjoy it <3
